To the Leftist Cattle, Stop Mindlessly Following the Herd

According to the left, Rush Limbaugh’s apology both on the air and in writing means nothing.  This attack on Rush Limbaugh is being perpetuated, through lies, by those who feel threatened by him and wish to silence him.  It is interesting how the lies continue to be spread by those who have never personally listened to anything Rush Limbaugh has said and who have never listened to his show and who were not witness to either his statements on Fluke or his apologies.  They follow along, foolishly, like cattle, merely pass on and perpetuate the lies because those in the leftist media say so.  It's what the left does.  Leftists believe the lies about Limbaugh and eagerly pass it on as truth without being able to back up their statements with any true facts.

Meanwhile, they ignore the truth about Sandra Fluke and her motives because the left, the media and even President Obama hail her as a voice of the left, one who will further the leftist agenda.  Sandra Fluke is 30 years old and has been a liberal activist for a long time.   She enrolled at Georgetown specifically, knowing it is a Catholic/Jesuit University which, because of its religious beliefs, does not believe in birth control. Her goal, as activist, was to force the school to pay for birth control of its students against its religious beliefs.  It is an attack on religious freedom and, based on his vocal support of and phone call to Fluke, an idea that is supported by President Obama.  It is one of Obama and the left's steps toward making the United States a Marxist Socialist country.  Fluke is being used as a poster child of the left.  The face of the attack on religious freedom and on the Republic of the United States.
The left is using this slip of the tongue to pounce upon Limbaugh, and like a dog with a bone, isn’t about to let go, as they see it as their one chance to remove the obstacle to their cause.  Gloria Allred is calling for Rush Limbaugh to be prosecuted under an obscure, 1883 Florida law that states:  "Whoever speaks of and concerning any woman, married or unmarried, falsely and maliciously imputing to her a want of chastity, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree."  This attack by Allred is utterly ridiculous.

When you look at the definition of slut: 1. a slovenly woman, 2. a promiscuous woman, and 3. a saucy girl.  I believe the number 2 definition is the one that is being referenced as Fluke does not appear slovenly and even Fluke would not mind being considered a “saucy girl.”
Sandra Fluke says her condoms costs her $1,000 a year.   You can get 250 condoms for $100.  That works out to 2,500 condoms a year.  That’s enough condoms to have sex 6.9 times a day.  That seems like a rather high amount for a single woman, especially when you consider  18-29 year olds have sex an average of 112 times per year, 30-39 year olds an average of 86 times per year as reported by the Kinney Institute. People on the right are using Fluke's own admission to the $1000/yr. condom use and to defend the use of the term “slut” to describe Miss. Fluke.  I don't condone the use of the word "slut" and I believe that Fluke was trying to make a convincing point by exaggerating the yearly cost of condoms and I don’t believe that Fluke is a slut having sex 6+ times a day.  She is far too busy perpetuating the leftist agenda and attacking religious freedoms to be doing so.  Still, these facts make Allred's attempt to coax others to bring legal action against Limbaugh absurd and makes Allred, once again, look silly and unprofessional.
As for Limbaugh, he has retracted and apologized for the use of that terms slut and prostitute: “I should not have used the language I did, and it was wrong.”
Limbaugh, unnecessarily, goes a step further than a simple apology and states:

“They've (the left) demonstrated over and over a willingness to say or do anything to advance their agenda.  "It's what they do.  It's what we fight against here every day.  But this is the mistake I made.  In fighting them on this issue last week, I became like them.
Against my own instincts, against my own knowledge, against everything I know to be right and wrong I descended to their level when I used those two words to describe Sandra Fluke.  That was my error.  I became like them, and I feel very badly about that.  I've always tried to maintain a very high degree of integrity and independence on this program.  Nevertheless, those two words were inappropriate.  They were uncalled for. They distracted from the point that I was actually trying to make, and I again sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for using those two words to describe her.  I do not think she is either of those two words.  I did not think last week that she is either of those two words... Everybody here was being true to their nature except me. I'm the one who had the failing on this, and for that I genuinely apologized for using those words to describe Ms. Fluke.”

Full Statement

Why is the left perpetuating this when there are much more important things to worry about, such as the economy, fast and furious and the killing of unborn babies, than a slip of the tongue and an apology?  The perpetuation is simply an attempt to silence Rush Limbaugh because he is a threat, an obstacle, to the leftist’s agenda of reelecting Obama with the ultimate goal of creating a socialist country.  Limbaugh stands for liberty under the Constitution as our forefather’s intended a defender of our Republic and a warrior in the battle against a tyrannous oligarchy.
The continued attack on Limbaugh proves one thing, they are very afraid of Rush Limbaugh, which proves he is doing something right.  The fact that he is still on the air proves he a force to reckon with and is unlikely to be going anywhere any time soon.

Why do people on Facebook and twitter mindlessly support attacks on Limbaugh such as supporting a petition  to have advertisers pull out from Limbaugh for "vile attacks on women?" Where is the proof of "vile attacks on women?" He made one erroneous statement and apologized for it. Yet the lie that he "vilely attacks women" is being perpetuated. Have you ever listen to Limbaugh? Are you supporting the petition because of what you have personally heard him say or are you just assuming what is said in the petition is true? Why a petition against Limbaugh and not other's who have said much worse and have not apologized for their comments as Limbaugh has. Why not admonish Fluke for her attack on religious freedom?  Do you not believe that religious organizations have a right to practice according to their beliefs or should the government be telling them how to practice their religion? Where is the petition to protect religious freedom? It is to your advantage to know all the facts before sharing.

To the leftist cattle, it's time to stop mindlessly following the herd.

Update 3/44/12: $100,000 of 'grassroots' anti-Rush activism Posted by

"Media Matters was committing $100,000 to an advertising campaign urging people to call local radio stations to complain about Limbaugh."

Fear makes people do strange things and spend a lot of money on cattle feed.
